Who Am I?

I’ve always been a story teller. Since I was a little girl, time and time again I was told… “you should be on TV when you grow up.” And from that moment forward, I’ve only ever dreamt of working within the communications field. It was the thrill of being within the know, up-to-date in current affairs and networking with the like-minded kind that sold me. Now at the age of 20, and finalising my fourth and final year of studies in business and journalism, I can finally say this “dream” of mine is very much underway.

Since my creative beginnings, I’ve had the privilege to work with brands like Lorna Jane, Greyhound and the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation. I’ve also been employed by the likes of Brisbane Times, Styling You and Channel 7.

To say these experiences were truly remarkable would most certainly be an understatement. Though being the curious person I am, I wanted MORE. And so I decided to chase that dream… by packing my belongings and moving to the South Bay of California in August 2016 to study abroad at San Jose State University for six months.

During my time abroad, I was blessed with the opportunity to mingle with fellow industry reps from LinkedIn, HP, Cisco and even Facebook. I also joined the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) where I was able to create connections with like-minded millennials to brainstorm ideas for our near future within this exciting profession.

As a Golden Key International Honour Society Member, and soon-to-be QUT Alumni, I am more than just a student… I am a scholar who believes in the power of knowledge to transform lives and change situations for the better. I strive for excellence within my field and am ready to begin my pathway to success as a comms professional.

So what are we waiting for? Let’s connect and make great things happen.
